Information and Training

The Institute carries out dedicated and general information activities on key topics and development cooperation programs, as well as access to facilitated financing tools, through a continuous effort. supporto informativo.

ICEPS carries out training programs ICEPS conducts training programs on key topics of international development cooperation, such as the "Enhancing Management Capacity of Foreign Services in Latin America" program, implemented in collaboration with CEPAL for the training of officials from Latin American Foreign Ministries.

Within the framework of the program, three documents and three meetings were carried out to identify diplomatic actions and international economic policy measures aimed at improving economic relations between Europe and Latin America.

The Institute carries out informal and on-the-field training activities for personnel. within the scope of international organizations. It collaborates with fellows to implement studies, research, and operational projects in economic cooperation. This provides personnel with the opportunity to delve into topics related to international economic cooperation and gain the necessary experience to acquire greater specialization.

Thanks to its NGO status at ECOSOC, ICEPS regularly receives information regarding projects, resolutions, meetings, and global summits from specialized UN agencies such as UNCTAD, UNIDO, CEPAL, FAO, ECE, and GEF for environmental matters. These pieces of information have been organized in an easily accessible and continuously updated archive. The documentation is categorized by agencies, commissions, and sectors, making it convenient for reference purposes.

Since April 1995, ICEPS has been publishing the ICEPS Report, a periodic publication providing information and updates on key topics related to international economic cooperation and development, as well as major events and activities planned and carried out by the United Nations, World Bank, European Union, and other international organizations. The report is distributed free of charge to ICEPS members, the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Chamber and Senate, as well as interested national and international public and private institutions.

The Institute has a public library comprising approximately 6,000 volumes, specializing particularly in topics related to international economic cooperation and development. Additionally, it maintains a newspaper library of about 150 Italian and international journals and magazines. The library not only maintains a continuous collaboration and exchange with other international libraries but has also initiated a partnership with other Italian international studies libraries to establish a joint Online Public Access Catalog accessible via the Internet.
